Mount Rinjani Climb

Mount Rinjani is an active volcano in Indonesia on the island of Lombok. Administratively, the mountain is in the Regency of North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. It rises to 3,726 meters making it the second highest volcano in Indonesia. It is also the highest point in the Indonesian province of West Nusa Tenggara. The climb to Plawangan Sembalun will take roughly around 8 hours via POS 1, POS 2, and POS 3. The path from camp location to Torean is relatively safe, namely through forest and community plantation. The descend journey will take around 5 hours but you get to experience the beautiful scenery and ambience of Mount Rinjani's rainforest.

ITINERARY

      DAY 1 ( 21st May 2024 )

• Meeting at Zainuddin Abd Madjid International Airport.

• Arrived at Sembalun Homestay 3-4pm. Program briefing.

• (Accomodation / Homestay)

• All meals on your own during travel.

  DAY 2 ( 22nd May 2024 )

• Ready for hike -Move to starting point & stretching.

• Start trekking to POS 1 (Pos pemantauan 1300M) and rest for 10 minutes

• Walk to POS 2 ( Pos Tengengean 1500M) and rest for 10 minutes

• Arrive at POS 3, Lunch, rest & continue the hike.

• Arrived at Plawangan Sembalun. Welcome drink & enjoy sunset.

• Dinner at Plawangan Sembalun at 2639M.

• (Meals : B/L/D on Trek)

  DAY 3 ( 23rd May 2024 )

• Supper before summit attack RinjaniPeak 3726M.

• Arrive at Summit, photo session with sunrise.

• Return to Plawangan Sembalun campsite and lunch.

• Packing, head down & stay the night at Danau Segara Anak

• Dinner & free activities

• (Meals : Supper/L/D)

  DAY 4 ( 24th May 2024 )

• Breakfast, packing and continue the journey to "Pintu Hutan Torean".

• Enjoy the view along the Torean tracks / photo session.

• Lunch at the river.

• Arrive at "Pintu Hutan Torean.

• Back to Torean & rest.

• End of the hike 6pm - 7pm.

• (Meals : B/L. on Trek)

  OPTIONAL: Stay at homestay or drive to Lombok. Homestay can be arranged if necessary.

  OPTIONAL DAY 5 (25th May 2024)

• Head to Wisata Adat Sade and Bukit Merese.

• Head to airport. Reach airport at 2pm.
